Abstract
Gender issues often question women's work and performance in public spaces. Some people see it negatively based on the community's customs, values, and norms. This study aimed to explain the level of performance of Muslim men and women influenced by emotional intelligence and work stress. The results show that Muslim women are slightly better than men in performance at public office in Aceh Islamic Province.
