Human and Divine Economy in Dialectical Relation: An Interdisciplinary Approach
Abstract
The article explores the dialectical relationship between human and Divine Economy through an interdisciplinary lens that brings together economic theory, theology, sociology, and philosophy. Focusing on ontological, teleological, ethical, and anthropological foundations, it proposes an alternative model of economic thought in which economic activity is not confined to a technical system of resource management, but is understood as a relational act between persons, centered on the Eucharistic experience and concern for the common good. Within this framework, Divine Economy emerges as a paradigm for an economy that respects the human being as a person rather than as a means of production or consumption; an ethical and socially just oikonomia that places human dignity and responsibility back at the center.
